Max Chopovsky has been helping companies find office space for over fifteen years. He has negotiated over $500 million in lease transactions for both public and private companies across a wide range of industries, from technology to healthcare, logistics to consumer services, and everything in between.
Max started his career in GE’s leadership program, where he earned his Six Sigma green belt. After earning Rookie of the Year at Grubb & Ellis, Max eventually became Director of Tenant Representation at Cushman & Wakefield.
In 2012, Max launched Chicago Creative Space, a venture highlighting the city’s most innovative offices with video while interviewing CEOs on the culture-space connection. In the CCS Ethos event series, he moderated panels of CEOs discussing their experiences leveraging real estate to support company culture. Architects, general contractors, and furniture manufacturers advertised with CCS to showcase their portfolios to an ever-growing audience. The venture culminated with the Chicago Creative Space Awards, which recognized the most innovative offices in the city and was attended by hundreds of Chicago executives and creatives.
Chicago Creative Space gave Max an unrivaled perspective of office space as not just a financial obligation, but, if designed with culture and people in mind, a real asset. Max has written and spoken extensively on the subject (see Thought Leadership).
Combining this knowledge with his firm grasp of financial analysis, his extensive experience negotiating complex transactions and his fanatical focus on the client experience, Max offers a uniquely holistic value proposition for his clients.
Max won the CoStar Power Broker Quarterly Deals award in 2024.
